SPORT & RECREATION COORDINATOR

Part time – 20 Hours per week (Term time only)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our Sport and Recreation department at Motueka High School to assist in the delivery of our School Sports Plan. The successful candidate will work alongside the Teacher in Charge of Sport and the School Sport Manager.  This position will commence at the start of 2020 school year.

 

Responsible for: Coordination of active sport and recreation opportunities at Motueka High School. This includes providing access to casual and social physical activity, sport and recreation.

There will be an expectation that the applicant will deliver up to 15 hours per week before, during and after school, accompanied by 5 hours planning and administration. The time of delivery

is flexible dependant on candidate strengths, availability and the needs of the respective school groups.

TEACHER/S OF DANCE, ENGLISH, SOCIAL STUDIES,  MEDIA STUDIES

 Motueka High School are seeking teacher/s who specialise in the following subjects: Dance, English, Social Studies and Media Studies. A package made up from any combination of these subjects is possible.

Should you be qualified in dance but are not registered with the NZ Teachers Council, a Limited Authority to Teach (LAT) could be applied for.

Start date likely to be February 2020 but yet to be confirmed.

NETBALL COACHES & MANAGERS

Motueka High School is seeking expressions of interest for coaches or managers of our 4 competitive netball teams playing in Nelson for the 2020 season. The pre-season training commences in February and the season runs until September

If you are interested in one of these volunteer positions please reply in an email to stacey.fry@motuekahigh.school.nz

Teams playing at the Motueka Netball Centre – your coaches and managers will be allocated once the teams have been made up next year.
