40 Hour Famine or Challenge: 5-7 June 2020

Dance to 40 songs in 40 hours? Do 40 good deeds around your home?

The World Vision 40 Hour Famine is New Zealand’s largest youth fundraising event. Every year, hundreds of thousands of young Kiwis have taken a stand through a 40 Hour Challenge to raise money and bring hope to thousands of children living in poverty in more than 40 countries. Can we count on you?

Your fundraising challenge could be to spend 40 hours going without something you rely on – like motorised transport, electricity or food. Or this year you could do it in a way that also sends a message that we must – together – act to better care for our beautiful shared planet. Whatever you decide to do, it all starts with getting your friends together, asking people to sponsor you, and getting active. Check out our resources for more challenge and fundraising ideas!
